General


Data Ramp provides its clients with data processing services that enable them, to efficiently and economically, prepare, clean, and associate consumer and business data for a broad range of use cases including but not limited to marketing, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.  Services provided by Data Ramp include the handling of consumer personally identifiable information (“PII”); however, Data Ramp immediately destroys the PII after a process has ended.  Further, any PII cached data is kept in a non-human readable format and can’t be reverse engineered by Data Ramp personnel.

Information We Do not Collect


Data Ramp is in receipt of U.S. consumer and business information including PII as provided by our clients for utilization of Data Ramp services.  Data Ramp does not take receipt of information on consumers or businesses outside of the U.S.  We are held accountable for handling such information in the highest confidence.  Data Ramp contractually does not gain title to, share, disclose, co-mingle, or handle client data except as explicitly required by subscribed services and as complies with all applicable laws and regulations including those related to consumer privacy and personal information protection.

Information We Collect


Data Ramp may collect contact information voluntarily provided by those business interested in learning more about Data Ramp services, downloading white papers, blogs, or subscriptions for Data Ramp Services.  If an individual registers to submit blog comments or download a document, we may ask or require certain personal data to be provided including name, email address, phone number, job title, job role, company name, company size and other information pertinent to having a relevant follow up conversation.

Data Ramp utilizes cookies, pixel tags, and logs to provide a better user experience on our website or landing pages.  If your browser preferences are set up to reject cookies, certain functionality may be disabled.  Cookies, pixel tags, and logs can be used to identify IP address, browser type, domain name, and specific web pages through which you click, or email messages you open.  We will not collect personal information, except with your explicit permission.

Information Use and Storage


Data Ramp will never share or sell information we collect to third parties for marketing or any other commercial purposes.  We may store voluntarily provided information in Data Ramp databases for sales and marketing purposes; however, individuals or businesses have the option of opting out of receiving any materials from us except for communications that may be required by law. All communications are held in the strictest confidence.  Data Ramp will not disclose any information without the express permission of the individual or business.

For compliance with law, fraud prevention, or safety. We may use your personal information as we believe appropriate to (a) comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities; (b) where permitted by law in connection with a legal investigation; (c) protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property; and (d) protect, investigate and deter against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity.  In certain cases, we may ask for your consent to use or share your personal information as may be required by law.

Sharing of Your Information


We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances:

Affiliates – we will share your personal information with our corporate affiliates for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Service Providers – we may share your personal information with third parties that provide services that help us with our business activities (such as customer support, hosting and storage, website analytics, email delivery and legal and other professional advice). We authorize these third parties to access your personal information to the extent reasonably necessary for them to provide their services.

For Legal Reasons – we may disclose your personal information as we believe appropriate to government or law enforcement officials or to private parties for the purposes described above under the following sections: For compliance, fraud prevention and safety and for compliance with law.

Business Transfers – we may share your personal information, in connection with a potential Data Ramp change in control such as a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale of substantially all assets, bankruptcy, or dissolution.

Rights to Your Information


You can request access to, change or delete information Data Ramp holds by sending us an email at inquires@dataramp.io. We will respond to you as soon as possible in accordance with our legal obligations.

Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, the Sites may not work properly.

Information Retention


Data Ramp retains the information collected from you as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide our services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue our legitimate interests, for our business or commercial purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

Age Requirements


Data Ramp services are not directed to, not intended to be used by, nor do we knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of thirteen (13). If you become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at inquires@dataramp.io. If we become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately take action to delete such information.

Security


Data Ramp practices reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, procedural safeguards, and security measures to protect all information it handles or collects from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.  Please note that no electronic transmission of information can be entirely secure. We cannot guarantee that the security measures we have in place will never be defeated or fail, or that such measures will always be sufficient or effective. Any transmission of information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any Data Ramp privacy settings or security measures.

Policy Updates


Periodically, Data Ramp may update this Privacy Policy and will make the new version available on this page. If we make any material changes, we will notify you via email before the effective date of the policy to obtain your consent.
